Terms of Use

The terms and guidelines governing your access to and use of TextMatchCut.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to TextMatchCut (matchcuttext.com). By accessing, viewing, or using our website and video generation tools, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should immediately discontinue use of the service.

2. Ownership of Your Generated Content

You retain 100% full ownership, title, and intellectual property rights in the text you enter and the video files you export using TextMatchCut.

TextMatchCut claims zero copyright, ownership, or licensing rights over your exported videos. You are free to publish, distribute, monetize, and use your generated videos for personal, editorial, client, commercial, and social media campaigns without requiring attribution or paying royalties to TextMatchCut.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that the text you enter and the videos you distribute comply with applicable laws and do not infringe on third-party rights.

3. Intellectual Property of TextMatchCut

All visual design elements, editorial layouts, custom code, graphic assets, typography styling, software architecture, and the TextMatchCut brand name and domain are the exclusive intellectual property of TextMatchCut and its operators (codedash.ai).

You may not scrape, reverse engineer, replicate, or redistribute the proprietary source code, algorithmic newspaper layouts, or brand assets without express written consent.

4. Prohibited Misuse and Editorial Integrity

TextMatchCut simulates historical and modern newspaper broadsheet aesthetics for creative, dramatic, comedic, educational, and editorial storytelling. To protect the public and preserve the integrity of the service, you strictly agree NOT to use TextMatchCut for:

  • Fabricating deceptive "fake news" or deliberate disinformation designed to mislead the public regarding emergency events, public health crises, or elections.
  • Defaming, libeling, harassing, or unlawfully damaging the reputation of any living person, business, or public official.
  • Impersonating real news organizations or actual journalists with the intent to defraud, deceive, or conduct phishing.
  • Creating hate speech, incitement to violence, obscenity, or content that promotes illegal acts.
  • Attempting to conduct automated denial-of-service attacks, programmatic scraping, or server abuse against matchcuttext.com.

5. Service Availability and Browser Compatibility

TextMatchCut is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. Because video generation is performed client-side using advanced Web APIs, system performance and video export capability depend on your specific device hardware, operating system, and browser version.

While we strive for broad compatibility across modern releases of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, we do not warrant that video generation will be uninterrupted or error-free on outdated browsers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, TEXTMATCHCUT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

IN NO EVENT SHALL TEXTMATCHCUT, ITS OPERATORS (CODEDASH.AI), CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

7. Changes to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of TextMatchCut at any time without prior notice. We may also revise these Terms of Use periodically. Your continued use of the service following the posting of updated terms constitutes your acceptance of the revisions.

8. Governing Law and Operator Contact

TextMatchCut is operated by codedash.ai.
